At the 23rd Japanese Society for Disability and Oral Health Annual meeting
The effects of Soladey -J3X were presented!
The 23rd Japanese Society for Disability and Oral Health (JSDH) Annual meeting (including scientific and clinical presentations) was held successfully at the Sendai International Center in the city of Sendai, Miyagi prefecture from OCT. 20th to the 21st, 2006.
At the presentation, gThe effects of photocatalytic disinfection on oral bacteria by titanium dioxide with a solar cellh was presented as it had been last year and was again in the spotlight.
This fundamental research has developed by the Osaka University Dental Hospital laboratory, conducted by Professor Morisaki, (chairman of the JSDH) of the Clinical Department for Disability and Oral Health at Osaka University Dental Hospital.
In this research, it was proved that using S. mutans MT8148 sterilizes the oral cavity very quickly through the dialyzing membrane without direct contact with oxidized titanium. Thus, it is expected to be effective for Streptococcus mutans in biofilm as well.

At the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Pan European Federation 2006 in Dublin (Ireland)
The effects of Soladey-J3X were presented!
The International Association for Dental Research (IADR) Pan European Federation was held successfully with the participation of approximately 1,200 people at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland, over four days from Sept. 13th to the 16th, 2006.
At the Poster session, Dr. Nishikawara presented, gInfluence of the semiconductor TiO2 on Streptococcus mutans,h which received a lot of attention.
The outcome of this research is based on both basic and clinical studies, conducted by Dr. Nomura and Dr. Tamaki of the Tsurumi University School of Dental Medicine, who shared the tasks of the clinical study. Dr. Nishikawara of the Department of Oral Health at the National Institute of Public Health developed the basic study under the guidance of Dr. Hanada, director of the Department of Oral Health at NIPH.
It is remarkable to see the scanning laser microscope picture of the dispersed biofilm that had been created by S.mutans which showed the process of its finer dispersion due to the photocatalytic effects of TiO2. Also in the clinical study, it was shown that plaque was significantly removed.

At the 18th Congress of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (Sweden)
The effects of Soladey-J3X presented in Europe for the first time ever!!!
The 18th Congress of the International Association for Disability and Oral Health was successfully held with the participation of approximately 800 people from all over the world in Goteborg, Sweden over 4 days from August. 23rd to the 26th , 2006.
During the oral presentations on August 25th, the research progress report entitled g Plaque removal efficacy of a titanium oxide toothbrush with a solar batteryh was presented by Assistant Professor Akiyama of the Osaka University Dental Hospital laboratory, and won a lot of attention.
Dr. Akiyama researched this subject in the laboratory under the supervision of Professor Morisaki (chairman of the JSDH) of the Clinical Department for Disability and Oral Health at Osaka University Dental Hospital.
This progress report was compiled from the report of the clinical trial entitled, g The plaque removal effects of a tooth brush utilizing titanium oxide photocatalyst technology.h that was presented at The 22nd Japanese Society for Disability and Dental Health Annual Meeting last year by Dr. Akiyama. This was the first presentation of the effects of Soladey-J 3 outside of Japan, so this presentation became full of excitement as there was a lively exchange of many questions including some participants who asked about the price of Soladey-J 3X.

At the 44th Japan Child Dentistry Institute Convention
Announcement of the effectiveness of Soladey]J3X
The 44th Japan Child Dentistry Institute Convention was held on a grand scale at the Matsumoto Citizenfs Museum in Matsumoto city, Nagano prefecture, over two days from May 25-26, 2006.
In Main Hall A, Doctor Ishii captured the spotlight by introducing the research results entitled "The photo catalytic effects on S.mutans of the rod-shaped TiO 2 semiconductor with a solar cell", conducted under Professor Shimono of the Okayama University Graduate School of Dentistry general graduate course in the field of active child dentistry.
From the contents, which further advanced the research presented at the Shikoku convention on Japanese child dentistry the year before last, it turned out that the pH fall control domain and the antibacterial domain are not only in the titanium oxide stick contact part, but also in its circumference. Moreover, it turned out that there is a S.mutans bacillus adhesion control effect on false teeth. Questions and answers eager to learn the results of the research were asked, and expectations for the clinical applied research and mechanism research for adhesion control, etc. are expected to grew from now on.

At the 22nd Japanese Society for Disability and Oral Health Scientific Convention
Presentation on the effectiveness of Soladey]J3X
Over two days, Sat 15th and Sun 16th of October 2005, the 22nd Japanese Society for Disability and Oral Healthfs general meetings and a scientific convention were held on a grand scale at the APIO Kofu in Kofu city, Yamanashi prefecture, with over 1900 participants.
The research was conducted by Professor Morisaki (Japanese Society for Disability and Oral Health chairman) of the dental care unit for the disabled at Osaka University Hospital, as basic research on the "sterilization effect on oral bacteria of the TiO2 (titanium oxide) photo catalyst with a solar cell". The clinical research on " the plaque removal effect of a toothbrush adapting titanium oxide of photo catalyst technology" captured the spotlight on the 16th.
In the presentation of "the bactericidal effect over oral bacteria of the photo catalyst TiO2 (titanium oxide) with a solar cell" -- it was found that S.mutans strain MT 8148 was sterilized directly and indirectly through a sterilization filter. Moreover, it also turned out that when P.gingivalis OMZ314 is indirectly sterilized through a sterilization filter ithe number of bacilli decreases.
In the presentation of the "plaque removal effect of a toothbrush applying titanium oxide photo catalyst technology", it was explained. Placebo such as (Soladey]J3, but not using titanium oxide and Soladey]J3 are used by 20 healthy people in a clinical test. It turned out that Soladey]J3 showed a good plaque (dental plaque) removal effect, and also the depth of periodontal pockets was reduced significantly.
As shown in the statement, from the perspective of both the general and clinical sides, Soladey]J3 is verified to improve oral condition and maintain it. In the future, how it can be utilized for the disabled, and problems relating to the care and brushing of elderly peoplefs teeth should be considered.

At the Shikoku Regional Association rally of the 23th Japanese infant dentistry
Association menses
The effect of Soladey]J3X is announced.
The general meeting and the rally of the Shikoku region association of the 23th Japanese infant dentistry association menses were grandly held in the pavilion the 50th anniversary in Okayama University establishment that existed in Okayama City on November 23, 2004. The result of the research of "San's control and bactericidal effect on S.mutans of the TiO2 photo catalyst that gave the solar battery" done by the origin of the guidance of the Okayama University graduate school medicine odontology synthesis research course action infant odontology department field resigning one's public post professor in that in this laboratory was announced and it was remarkable.
The thing that the S.mutans bacterium assumed to be a cause of the decayed tooth with cylinder shape titanium and a solar battery used for Soladey]J3X sterilizes the thing and the S.mutans bacterium with the controlling effects of the production life acid was announced. This is a thing to do an important location as a basic research that shows the effect of Soladey]J3X.
